Art Garage

Waryas House is a residential program for adults with developmental disabilities who are also coping with substance abuse or alcoholism.
In 1995, the residents and maintenance crew worked together to create a working studio called The Art Garage.
In the studio, residents find the quiet in which to express visually things that can't be said in words or actions.
Art Garage artists have collaborated several times to build go-carts for the Kingston Artists' Soapbox Derby -- and they have won!
